Sudurpashchim Pradesh

Sudurpaschim Pradesh (which literally translates as ‘far-west province’) is the western-most province of Nepal. Earlier called Province 7, its Provincial Assembly adopted the new name in September 2018. It borders Tibet to the north, Karnali Pradesh and Pradesh No. 5 to the east, and India to the west and south. Its capital is Dhangadhi but it also hosts other cities such as Bhimdutta and Tikapur.
