The Government of NCT of Delhi

As the governing body of the capital of the Indian state, the government of the NCT assumes power over Delhi and its 11 districts. This government was created in 1991, enforced through the creation of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi Act. The body comprises of an executive structure, a judiciary and legislature. At the moment, the legislature is unicameral, meaning it has a single legislative chamber and consists of 70 Members of the Legislative Assembly.
