Uva

The Uva province (capital Badulla) is located in the south-eastern region of Sri Lanka, and is land-locked, being surrounded by the Southern, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Eastern provinces. It includes the districts of Badulla and Moneragala. Tourism remains an important industry, with popular sites in the province including the Rawana Falls, the Gal Oya National Park, as well as the Yala National Park. The Province is also home to the famous mountainous region of Namunukula.
