Chhattisgarh

Chhattisgarh is one of the fastest-developing states in India as well as a resource-rich state, and is a source of electricity and steel for the country, accounting for 15 percent of the total steel produced in the country. Known as “Dhan ka Katora” meaning “Rice Bowl” of the country, about 77 percent of the states net sown area comes from paddy cultivation. Chhattisgarh has three National Parks eleven 11 wildlife sanctuaries making it one of the most important contributors to the flora and fauna of India.
